The Fire Ceremony is a traditional ceremony which has been performed by our Mayan Elders since ancient times. It is a Sacred ritual of Unity and Gratitude. A space where our personal and group prayers are lifted up by the holy smoke to be heard by Great Spirit. Around the Sacred Fire eveyone is welcome regardless of race, gender, age or personal beliefs.
It is a space where all religious and spiritual beliefs are welcome.
Here we focus on our similarites in a safe space where we can present ouselves to Spirit while quietly saying our own prayers togehter in Unity.
March 21 marks the begining of the Mayan New Year or Waqxaquib’ B’atz.
On this day hundreds of fires will be lit asking for the fate of humanity, respect for our Mother Earth and the return of consciouness to all people of our world. Join us here as we come together with Mayan Priestess Adriana Rojas and Samiel Carolina as we light the Sacred Fire Together. Calling in a new cycle of healing and unity.
Our prayers and offerings will be blessed with the Spring Equinox, bringing new life and greater Light to our dreams, our humanity and our planet.
For the Mayans this day marks the return of the Maize God Hun Hunahpu.
Bring: 20 offerings for the fire : such as fruits, almonds, white candles, incense, cookies, chocolates, sweets (ready to burn and without packaging please)
Sisters participating , you are invited to wear a long skirt.
We will gather together in one conscious unity. The Sacred Fire welcomes all ages, genders and walks of life.
