THE HEART OF THE LABYRINTH

by Nicole Schwab , Author of THE HEART OF THE LABYRINTH

” As everything she thought she knew about herself disintegrates: her health, career, family and identity, Maya embarks on a journey of discovery to the land of her ancestors. There, a mysterious Sage guides her through dreams, visions and lifetimes, to the heart of the labyrinth.

Coming face-to-face with her subconscious belief that being a woman is a threat, she understands that to step into wholeness she will have to reclaim the sacred feminine fire burning in her soul.

But what is at stake far exceeds her individual life: with it sits the fate of the Earth herself, waiting for the Priestess to be reborn.

A grand, soul-shifting answer to the hungry soul’s question: who am I? Maya’s story calls us back to a sacred, personal connection with the Earth.

Nicole Schwab is a mesmerising new voice for our times, offering a message of Earth-centered wisdom reuniting us with the divine feminine.”

Excerpt from Chapter IX Willakuti: The Return of the Sun

Saywa – “In the depth of the night, I arrived at the ruins. There was no moon and the sky was adorned with crisp stars twinkling through the icy cold of the vast plains. The Southern Cross magnificently parted the sky, right above the extensive temple grounds. A small group of men and women sat around a fire, most of them dressed in ceremonial clothing. They welcomed me in my native language and invited me to join them. I walked up the few steps leading into the main precinct and stopped before the eerie silhouettes of the ancient monoliths stoically holding on to their secrets, defying the passing of time. I marveled at the mysterious gate of the sun, a chiseled stone arch dancing in the glow of the crackling flames. It seemingly invited us to step into another dimension and leave behind all limitations imposed by our delusional minds.

More and more people kept coming throughout the night, drawn by a mysterious pull they could neither explain nor understand. They had simply followed their bodies, gathering around our fire with the unspoken faith of those who know they are about to witness something spectacular. I did not see them, but felt the growing human presence around me, and the bubbling energy of joint anticipation. My eyes were closed. As the fire slowly burned to the ground, I sat absorbed by the process of my purification from the past, shedding layer after layer of confusion, being led effortlessly into the deep dark void of pure creative potential. There, surrendered to the longest and blackest of nights, in the silent circle of our prayers, we waited. We waited for the return of the light.

Time stopped. There was no movement, no breath, no sign of life. Only the intense cold and the mute indifference of the stones mocking our impatience in the face of eternity. We held the void with all our courage, willing to hold it forever, trusting life to spring forth once again from the creative miracle of our minds. …”

The best accessory you can ever wear

The best accessory of a self-actualised woman is peace.

When you carry peace within you, you become beautifully present.

You are gracefully visible. It is easy to fill up a room.

Effortlessly you attract the people that resonates with your Soul.

Your posture is tall and lean you stand still, you seat tall, and walk slowly.

You are magnetic.

You glow beauty from the inside out.

You listen You are listened

Peace creates grace and grace gives peace.

Body Work that reduces PMS

The practice of the Self Actualized Woman consists in a sequence of restorative, calming and cooling postures to naturally alleviate any tension during the Creative Phase .

— Sitting forward bends done restfully with the head supported
— Lie back over a support to open the chest and extend and/or spread the abdominal region
— Lie on a mat and relax the lower back thanks to the force of gravity by lifting up and supporting the coxis area

As you practice this postures, breathe deeply : EASE as you breathe in, RELEASE as you breathe out. Cramping and heaviness in the abdomen slowly disappear bringing positivity and mental alertness.

{ Working with the Moon } – Earth-Moon-Womb connection

Woman is Earth-Moon in essence. To learn from her Earth-Moon womb, a woman must hold fast to vessel of perfect intuition with which she is gifted from birth. Moon essence essentially unveils her nature as gentle and receptive. This has often been viewed by the patriarchal mind as emotional feebleness and lack of intelligence. On the contrary, the ancient wisdom remind us that this sensitive powers transform all dream potential into Earth powers. Therefore, the Moon Lodge manifests the profundity of the feeling realms, and makes the invisible perceptible through the opening of the womb’s eye within. A woman in the Moon Lodge learns to see with her womb’s eyes…
When, our of fear, guilt and shame a woman ignores her Moon Lodge, she hopelessly isolates herself from her circle of women. A woman may erroneously imagine that, in order to be equal to man, she must obtain the same opportunities that he enjoys. This is understandable, after 5400 years of “teachings” that this is the way to fulfilment. Yet she disconnects slowly from her very core, loosing her power, inspiration and motivation, to finally be impossible to recognise her own dreams and desires.
Women on their way back to themselves, must have their own women’s circles and step into their creative powers again.

Inside every woman

“Inside every woman, grows a secret life, a powerful force filled with good instincts, creativity, passion and eternal wisdom. Is the Wild Woman, a species in danger of extinction, due to the constant efforts of society and corporations to civilize women to fit rigid roles that override her instinctive essence.  …” -Clarissa P. Estes

I agree with Dr. Estes. Many times in my life I found myself forcing my energies to fit into someones expectations or unwanted situations loosing my center in the process, feeling tired, sad and unable to see a way to be “more authentic”. It is only when I understood why I was feeling like that  with a new awareness that I could clearly see and move away from those situations. Do you know someone who has felt the same way?

A woman is cyclic by nature: from moments to ecstatic and focused mind to moments of emotional outburst, vulnerability, high magic and creativity. When a woman is not aware of her essence, she looses herself in the process giving too much of herself to everyone but her… Because the truth is that women deeply care. We support and we receive, we learn and we teach, we lead and we follow. We are women at the top and women on her way. And we are all significant to our men, children and communities.

What if you could know when to take decisions, when you are most influential, when you can start something new and lead, when you are receptive, when it is time to go within… ?

I personally invite you to experience the most beautifully crafted and empowering cycle for women – the Self-Actualized Woman Cycle if for women of all ages and walks of life willing to be “more authentic”, centered and joyful.

You have today the opportunity to create a liberating practice, in a safewarm and creative space where you open up to your feminineauthentic powerembracing each other’s strength and vulnerability. A space where we see ourselves in each other and we allow our true self to be seen.

The Empowered Circle

Women's Circle
I opened the Women’s Empowerment Summit in Crete last Saturday 28 September with a Women’s Circle – a circle is an ancient practice that brings trust, possibilities, expansion, awareness, reflection and co-created solutions for the highest good of all. Everyone felt the power of the circle: all the speakers adopted the circle format, no one used the screen presentations and everything was delivered from the heart : researches & personal stories, strategies, practices and solutions.

Connections were created based on trust and new doors opened for everyone.

What if you start seating in circles in your organization, community and family ?
What creative solutions could be found?
What decisions could be collectively made to bring forth positive change?

True Womanhood

Imagine a woman who trusts and respects herself.
A woman who listens to her needs and desires.
Who meets them with tenderness and grace.

Imagine a woman who acknowledges the past’s influence on the present.
A woman who has walked through her past.
Who has healed into the present.

Imagine a woman who authors her own life.
A woman who exerts, initiates, and moves on her own behalf.
Who refuses to surrender except to her truest self and wisest voice.

Imagine a woman who names her own gods.
A woman who imagines the divine in her image and likeness.
Who designs a personal spirituality to inform her daily life.

Imagine a woman in love with her own body.
A woman who believes her body is enough, just as it is.
Who celebrates its rhythms and cycles as an exquisite resource.

Imagine a woman who honors the body of the Goddess in her changing body.
A woman who celebrates the accumulation of her years and her wisdom.
Who refuses to use her life-energy disguising the changes in her body and life.

Imagine a woman who values the women in her life.
A woman who sits in circles of women.
Who is reminded of the truth about herself when she forgets.

Imagine yourself as this woman.
