What to eat for how you feel with Divya Alter.

Our relationship to food is one of the topics I’m most passionate about. As I experienced anorexia in my late teenage years, I do know how this important relationship mirrors back the relationship we have with our body, and ultimately, with ourselves.

Coming back to my body to fully love and accept her, and nourish her with food is my daily practice. I am proud to say that 20 years after my anorexic times, I never suffered again. Healing IS possible, we must choose to heal.

And that is why I fell in love with Divya’s message.

Divya Alter is the author of “What to eat for how you feel” and the owner of Divya’s Kitchen, a well known restaurant in Manhattan.

Divya believes that food can heal : she has devoted her work to serve and teach people to cook and eat delicious food that their body and mind say YES to.

In this conversation she shares with us how to listen to our body, so we know when she says YES. Also, Divya brings light to how food can energize us, depleat us or clog the energy channels, and how we can eat to restore our innate ability for healing and wellness.
